DREAM TEAM: GW 5

In this section we build a team for the week with £100 million. Here is this weeks' team of players we think can rake in the points this weekend. There's a few fixtures that really stand out as one sided so we have targeted these players primarily. Potential for a big points haul again this week so fingers crossed.

Formation 3-5-2 Team Value: £99.9

Forwards

Jesus ARS £8.2

Jesus is flourishing as Arsenal's main man up front and faces a dreadful Aston Villa team this week at home. He is great value at his current price point (expect it to rise again soon) and is our first pick for this current Dream Team. Despite the likelihood of rotation this week we think he will start as Arteta will not want to damage his table topping start to the season, he will probably be subbed off before the end of the game but will have plenty of time to do some real damage.

Firmino LIV £8.0

Due to Darwin's crazy sending off and Jota's injury, Firmino will again start against an understrength Newcastle this week. He only played the 68 minutes against Bournemouth at Anfield over the weekend, but managed a whopping 3 assists and 2 goals against his beleaguered opponents. We don't see him featuring too much when the forward line is at full strength again, but for this week's game he could be a good differential at his low ownership.

Midfielders

Salah LIV £13.0

We see no reason to leave out the best player in the game just yet, despite how utterly frustrating it was to watch him blank as Liverpool ran riot against Bournemouth winning 9-0. We figure he owes us, will start and will definitely get in on the action against a Newcastle side with some injuries to key players.................we hope.

Gundogen MCI £7.6

Ilkay was rested at the weekend so we are almost certain that he will start this week. He has been in good form this season with 2 goals and 1 assist. He also has dead ball opportunities from free kicks and the occasional penalties, which he may likely take in this game with so much player rotation expected. Man City have Nottingham Forest at home so it is a strong fixture for both attacking and defending player returns.

Rodrigo LEE £6.5

Currently the top scoring midfielder in the game. He is labeled as a midfielder in the game but has been filling in as the main forward with Banford currently out injured. The extra points for scoring as a midfielder has helped propel him to the top although he did blank in the last game. You would think he'll get back on point scoring track against Everton at home and that is why he is in our team.

De Bruyne MCI £12.2

We think De Bruyne is the most likely player to be rested for his game this week. His strong start to the season and potential to return even in a short time on the pitch does make it seem worth the gamble. At home to newly promoted Nottingham Forest is too good an opportunity to pass up.

Rashford MUN £6.3

Man U have starting to pick themselves up and play now with Ten Hag not afraid to make big changes to the first team. After a disappointing last season Rashford seems to have gotten his mojo back and is starting as the main forward in the current set up. As Rodrigo has already proven, we love a Forward labeled as a midfielder and we hope Rashford starts again in that position against Leicester this week. With service from Sancho, Eriksen and Fernandes (who is also looking like his old self again in the absence of Ronaldo) he should have enough ammunition to get some points on the board. At just £6.3 he is currently at a really tempting price point too and just about squeezes into our Dream Team.

Defenders

Robinson LIV £6.9

One of the standout attacking defenders in past seasons game but hasn't performed quite as highly so far this season, neither have Liverpool as a whole though. We like the fact that he was substituted in the last game against Bournemouth and we have a sneaking suspicion that Trent may get rested. Robinson is on corners and free kicks and continually gets himself into forward positions. At 7.9% ownership at time of writing he is a good differential to separate your team from the rest of the pack as he has the potential to score big points against a weakened Newcastle at Anfield.

Saliba ARS £4.7

Saliba has slotted seamlessly into the Arsenal first team this season and has contributed to to some fine defensive displays, bar an unlucky own goal. He is well priced for a defender at only £4.7 and we think he will maintain his good form against a dreadful Villa side at home. Saliba has been producing some attacking returns from set plays too and has a goal and an assist so far. He is the highest scoring defender at the time of writing, so is a no brainer for this week's Dream Team.

Ait Nouri WOL £4.4

We really wanted to take advantage of the strong Wolves defence against a Bournemouth side ripped to pieces by Liverpool last weekend. Ait Nouril was a regular starter this season but was rested in the last game, so we are fairly confident that he will start in this one. He is a forward thinking full back and chips in with the odd assist and goal here and there, combined with a clean sheet and some possible attacking bonus points, he looks like a good pick at the back.

.

Goalkeeper

Ederson MCI £5.5

Finally we have gone with Ederson in goal this week. He is a premium 'Keeper with a decent selection of fixtures coming up. Manchester City are so good in defense and we reckon another clean sheet will be on the cards for him this weekend as he's up against Notts Forest. It is also worth noting that in these multiple shortly spaced fixtures he is pretty much the one player in that Man City team to be immune to "Pep Roulette", so that has to be worth something. Fingers crossed he keeps his third clean sheet of the season here.

Subs

1. Andreas FUL £4.5

Great price for an attacking midfielder for a Fulham team holding their own this season and with a striker on top of his game in Mitrovic to play forward with. Fulham are at home to Brighton, who have started strongly this season, but Fulham have proven themselves to be more than capable of putting up a fight. He gets our first sub position this week,

2. Patterson EVE £4.0

A great value and active wing back, Nathan Patterson has the potential for some strong attacking returns. He hasn't had a proper striker to feed as yet, but maybe the signing of Neal Maupay this week can help with that. Still a great value bench option with potential for a clean sheet.

3. Williams NFO £4.1

This guy was great again last weekend against Tottenham popping up all over the pitch with blocks and great runs into attacking positions. Forest played well and the losing score of )-0-0-2 is somewhat misleading. Lovely value for an active wing back and a great price for a sub. We don't really want to see him up against Man City though so he is our last sub this week.

GK. Ward LEI £4.0

The go to back up 'keeper who is now the no.1 for Leicester City. Bargain.
