Dream Team: GW 10
Updated: Oct 13, 2022
In this article we build a team for the week with £100 million. Here is this weeks' team of players we think can rake in the points this weekend..........

Formation 3-4-3 Team Value: £99.8
Forwards
Wilson NEW £7.2
Back from injury and, with record signing Alexander Isak still on the treatment table, a guaranteed starter - we have plucked for Callum Wilson as our first forward this week. Wilson has 3 goals in 4 games this season and his Newcastle come up against a porous Brentford defence at St James' park on Saturday.
Haarland (C) MCI £12.2
The second striker position was the easiest one of the lot. The best player in the game and an absolute must. He was subbed off early midweek in Man City's European game so will be fresh to face Southampton at home this weekend. An easy pick for the captain's armband too.
Aubameyang CHE £9.0
A last minute signing of a long transfer window and only 74 Premier League minutes this season have contributed to Auba's lowly 2.1% ownership. This makes him a great differential pick in addition to a high likelihood of attacking returns against a manager-less and beleaguered Wolves team at home at Stanford Bridge.
Midfielders
Zaha CRY £7.3
Wilfred Zaha takes the first midfield birth in this weeks' team. Crystal Palace's talisman is about to set foot on a great run of fixtures, beginning with Leeds at home this weekend. He is central to the team in pretty much everything they do, and is well priced for a player with 4 goals in the 6 games he has featured in this season.
Bowen WHU £8.1
Jarrod Bowen was one of the stand out players for West Ham last season and comes up against a Fulham team that tends to concede. West Ham are also playing this London derby at home this weekend. Although he has had to wait until West Ham's last game to register any attacking returns this season, we are hoping that he can now hit some of last season's scintillating form, which saw him register 12 goals and 17 assists for West Ham in the Premier League.
Foden MCI £8.1
Foden has been somewhat under the radar this season, until last weekend that is when he popped up with a hattrick against Man United. Foden did not feature against FC Copenhagen this week so you would think he would be set to start against Southampton this weekend. He is a good price for the potential attacking returns that he could haul this week in both goals scored and assists to the Haarland machine.
Maddison (VC) LEI £8.1
James Maddison was one of the best midfielders last season and has looked good for Leicester this season too with 5 goals and 2 assists. He's good value at his price point, takes free kicks and Leicester have a pretty good run of games coming up so he has a good opportunity to rack up some decent point hauls. We think he can continue to do well at home against Bournemouth this weekend.
Defenders
Cancelo MCI £7.2
One of the standout attacking defenders in the game but hasn't performed quite as highly so far this season, worth having due to City's strong defensive stats. Cancelo has been getting returns in his last few games though and also seems to be one of the few players to be pretty immune to "Pep Roulette". He is up against a low scoring Southampton team this weekend so we are hope he can get both offensive and defensive points here.
Cresswell WHU £4.8
One of the better attacking defenders in the game for some of the past seasons, has yet to really get going this season however, but neither have West Ham as a whole. We think he will do well against a Fulham side with possible striker issues (Mitrovic is a doubt) in their derby fixture at home. Cresswell is an ideal FPL defender as he takes corners and free kicks along with continually gets himself into forward positions in and around the box. A great differential at only 2.2% ownership at the time of writing.
James CHE £6.1
Reece James completes our powerhouse of an attacking defence in this week's team. He is up against a Wolves team with a single fit striker in Diego Costa (who before Wolves' last game hadn't played football since January) and a wealth of attacking and defensive absences, they don't even have a manager right now. James scored and assisted in Chelsea's game in Europe this week against AC Milan and we are backing him to put some decent points on the board at both ends in this game.
Goalkeeper
Ward LEI £4.1
Ward finally came through with his first clean sheet last week and produced 8pts from saves and a bonus point. Leicester are against a low scoring Bournemouth team this week so let's see if this budget bad boy can do it again.
Subs
1. Sessengnon TOT £4.5
Last time Spurs were without Emerson starting Conte moved Perisic to right back and started Sess in his natural left wing back position, so we are banking on this happening again so our first sub can get some minutes if any other player fails to play. Has provided returns at both ends of the pitch since Conte's arrival at Tottenham.
2. Almiron NEW £5.1
Great price for an attacking midfielder in a Newcastle team holding their own this season. Newcastle are at home to Brentford this weekend. Miguel scored 2 in his last game, with 1 of the goals absolutely spectacular. Great price for a sub midfielder that has played every game so far.
.
3. Williams NFO £4.1
Top cost for an attacking wing back that seems to play every game, he completes our outfield subs for this week.
GK. Iversen LEI £3.9
If Ward doesn't start then surely he will, so is a natural choice for our sub goalie.
